Camp Statement on May Jobs Report

Statement

Date: June 6, 2014
Location: Washington, DC

Today, Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp (R-MI) issued the following statement on the May jobs report.

"Anyone who is happy with this report clearly has very low expectations. This is not good enough for America. We need a stronger economy in which we encourage greater innovation, investment, and growth. Only then will we see the strong job creation that families need to thrive. This week, the House will again act on permanent tax relief to strengthen our economy. These policies, along with pursuing the best possible trade agreements to open new markets to America-made goods and services, are critical to creating jobs here and getting America back on track."
